The Center for Biomolecular Magnetic Resonance (BMRZ) is one of the leading molecular biophysics research centres with more than 80 researchers dedicated to the use of nuclear and electron magnetic resonance. The full range of available methods including solution state NMR, solid state NMR, dynamic nuclear polarisation, EPR and computation is applied to different areas of research such as RNA biology, drug screening, protein folding, large protein complexes, membrane proteins and drug discovery. Besides of applications, new spectroscopic and biochemical methods are being developed. Due to its unique infrastructure, the centre also attracts external users from across the EU. Research at the centre connects molecular biology, physical chemistry, molecular biophysics, biochemistry and chemical biology. www.bmrz.de
