Kalamunda: Two Distinct Communities of Interest

The Shire of Kalamunda

The Shire of Kalamunda comprises of two distinct communities of interest. The first is a hills community that's characterised by rural and natural aesthetics and is essentially a region for lifestyle choices, eco-tourism and more recently the emergence of agribusiness.

Secondly is a foothills community that is clearly emerging as an urbanised modern region providing lifestyle choices for families. The foothills are within a close proximity to the Perth CBD and local employment hubs surrounding the Perth Airport.
