The IBD Center at Penn State in Hershey, Pennsylvania, founded in 2013, is focused on comprehensive care for patients suffering from Inflammatory Bowel Disease. IBD is a debilitating condition that is difficult for patients to deal with and that's why we offer more than just GI care. At Penn State, we treat the whole person. In just a few years, our center has experienced phenomenal growth. From creating a dedicated space that allows for personalized medicine, to offering nutritional counseling and psychiatric care for patients - we offer a wide range of services all at one site. We also have a special focus on working with pediatric IBD patients, as we help them transfer into their adult years while providing consistent treatment for them for life. The IBD Center at Penn State leads the way with cutting-edge IBD research, which includes one of the nation's largest IBD surgically harvested tissue repositories. We are deeply committed to providing excellent, comprehensive care for IBD patients with the goal of one day finding a cure.
