University Hospital Marburg department of Hematology
Philipps-Universität is not only a German university steeped in tradition, it is also the oldest university in the world that was founded as a Protestant institution in 1527. It has been a place of research and teaching for nearly five centuries. The Department of Hematology, Oncology and Immunology has for many years led research in Germany investigating the genetics of myeloid leukemia, molecular biology of resistance and the role of Helicobacter pylori infection in gastric lymphoma. This film will explore successes in these areas at Marburg.
